It’s Your Move!
Celebrating thoughts, wisdom and flights of fancy across the generations.
It’s Your Move! invites 10 people from each community, at 10 different stages of life, to each create a short dance on 2 professional performers about absolutely anything!
Previous participants have gone nutty or Nando’s, talked about Tinder, got caught in a Time Warp, dissected the lifecycle of a dragonfly, uncovered the wonder of unicorns and reflected on a whole host of personal life experiences. As you can see, literally anything can be the starting point for creating a dance.
Once created, all 10 dancers are woven together to create one performance celebrating the rich tapestry of each community. They are then performed locally, in a celebration of ‘now’ and ‘us’.
